ElevenMusic adds 4 Tools: Voice to Song, Loop Studio, Genreshift, and Unplugged

ElevenLabs added a Tools section to ElevenMusic on July 2, 2026. Four tools are live: Voice to Song, Loop Studio, Genreshift, and Unplugged. Two help you start a song from almost nothing. Two reshape a track you already finished.

The pace here is the sub-story. The announcement lands 2 weeks after Mixes and roughly 2 months after the app itself launched.

ElevenLabs pitches Tools as a fix for the songs you never finish. Imogen Mulliner, who wrote the launch post, puts the problem in one line.

What each of the 4 ElevenMusic Tools does

Voice to Song turns a rough vocal recording into a studio track

Record yourself singing on your phone. Off-pitch is fine. Voice to Song returns a studio-quality version of the same performance: your melody and lyrics stay while pitch and timing get fixed. The vocal comes back sitting inside a full arrangement. Your phrasing survives too. It stays your take, cleaned up.

Loop Studio builds an instrumental loop from a genre and a BPM

Pick a genre. Set a BPM. Loop Studio returns a tight instrumental loop, drums, bass, and one strong motif, built to repeat with no audible seam. It gives you something playable to build a track around in under a minute. ElevenLabs shared a short demo:

Genreshift rebuilds a finished track in a different genre

Genreshift keeps your voice and melody and rebuilds everything around them: new instrumentation and new production, in whatever genre you pick. ElevenLabs has been building toward this since Music v2 shipped mid-track genre transitions in May. Genreshift packages the genre move as a one-click tool for whole tracks.

Unplugged strips a finished track down to an acoustic version

Unplugged goes the other way. It takes a produced track and strips it down to an intimate acoustic version, with the original melody and lyrics front and center. Here’s the official demo:

Why voice-memo songwriters win the most from ElevenMusic’s Tools drop

The clearest winner is anyone with a phone full of hummed choruses. Voice to Song compresses the distance between a memo and a demo to one upload. If you write faster than you produce, your backlog got a lot cheaper to clear.

Producers get a sketchpad. Loop Studio output is a starting block, not a finished record, and the launch graphic shows the Tools tab teasing more: sample flipping and adding vocals to a beat are both named on the screen.
