Suno is building a merch store. A storefront at shop.suno.com went up on Monday, September 14, 2026, showing the Suno logo above the words “Coming soon”, a mailing list signup, and a password gate for anyone trying to get in early. Music Business Worldwide spotted the page first. A Suno spokesperson told the outlet the company had no details to share on the project at this time. By Tuesday morning the address was returning a 404 rather than the coming-soon page.

What Suno plans to sell is still unknown. The one hard clue sits in the footer, where the page carries a “Powered by” credit for Fourthwall.

Why Fourthwall running shop.suno.com is the interesting part

Fourthwall was founded in 2019, is based in Los Angeles, and raised $17 million in 2021 from investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Initialized Capital, and Alexis Ohanian’s Seven Seven Six. It says more than 500,000 creators and companies use it, and its catalog runs past 200 products covering apparel, hats, drinkware, posters, stickers, notebooks, blankets, and candles.

The platform built its business on individual creators like MKBHD and freestyle rapper Harry Mack, then moved into brand shops. It currently runs storefronts for New York Magazine, Vox, Eater, SanDisk, prediction market Kalshi, newsletter platform beehiiv, and the Smithsonian.

Fourthwall also operates as what it calls the Merchant of Record. In plain terms, it takes the payment, registers the sales tax, and carries the legal weight of the transaction, so a client can sell physical products without building a store or a tax department. That is a sensible pick for a company that wants a shop live in weeks, and it says nothing yet about whether the goods are Suno-branded hoodies or something users make themselves.

One more thread worth pulling: Lightspeed Venture Partners was in Fourthwall’s 2021 round, has backed Suno since 2024, and joined the $400 million Series D that pushed Suno to a $5.4 billion valuation this year. Shared investors do not explain a vendor choice on their own, but they do tend to shorten the introduction.

Vinyl in August, merch in September: Suno keeps moving into physical products

This is the second physical product Suno has teed up in 2026. In August it opened a waitlist for Suno Vinyl, pressing songs made on the platform onto 12-inch records at an estimated $45 plus shipping, with each disc holding up to 46 minutes of audio. That product is aimed at what users make. A merch store aimed at the Suno brand is a different business, with different margins and a different buyer.

The timing sits next to the bigger change. Suno switched on its licensed v6 models globally on Wednesday, September 9, built with partners including Warner Music, BMG, and Believe. A company that spent 2 years as a model and a web app now has a licensing structure, a vinyl press, and a storefront on the way.

If you make music on Suno, the question that decides whether any of this is useful to you is simple. A Suno-branded shop sells Suno. A Fourthwall storefront that lets you sell a shirt next to the song you wrote gives you a second product for the fans you already have, which is the part indie artists have been asking distributors for since merch tables moved online.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Suno merch store at shop.suno.com?

shop.suno.com is a storefront Suno has set up but not launched. As of September 14, 2026 it showed the Suno logo, a "Coming soon" line, a mailing list signup and a password gate for early access. Suno has not said what the store will sell.

Which platform is running Suno's merch store?

Fourthwall, a creator commerce platform founded in 2019 and based in Los Angeles. Its name appears in a "Powered by" credit at the foot of shop.suno.com. Fourthwall acts as Merchant of Record for its clients, which means it handles payment processing and sales tax registration on their behalf.

Is the Suno merch store the same as Suno Vinyl?

No. Suno Vinyl presses a user's own AI-generated songs onto 12-inch records at an estimated $45 plus shipping, and opened its waitlist in August 2026. The merch store is a separate storefront on its own subdomain, and Suno has not said whether it sells Suno-branded goods, user-designed products, or both.

When does Suno's merch store open?

Suno has not given a date. The page carried a "Coming soon" message and a mailing list signup on September 14, 2026, and a Suno spokesperson told Music Business Worldwide the company had no details to share at this time.
