Mozart AI raised $730K to fix something that hurts most musicians: 85% of music never gets finished and released. The London company has launched its AI-powered music DAW today, July 16, 2025, promising to help artists create tracks faster without taking away their creative control. EWOR led the funding round, with backing from last.fm founder Stefan Glaenzer

The money will help Mozart AI grow its team before the public launch. “Just 10 days after joining EWOR, Sundar, Arjun, and the team had built a first version of the product. They move at light speed,” said Daniel Dippold, Founder & CEO at EWOR. While Mozart AI calls itself the “world’s first AI-powered Digital Audio Workstation,” tools like RipX DAW have already been using AI for more than just separating stems.

Mozart AI acts like a smart assistant that understands what you tell it to do. Instead of making complete songs like other AI tools, it helps you build tracks piece by piece. You can say something like “Hey Mozart, create a euphoric 8-bar chord pattern and EQ the lows out” and get professional results in seconds.

“We’re eliminating friction, not creativity,” said Sundar Arvind, CEO and Co-Founder of Mozart AI. “Mozart AI was created to unlock creativity at the speed of inspiration, where every idea becomes a professional-grade song in minutes, not months”. This approach sets Mozart AI apart from other AI music tools that are starting to pop up.

The AI music market is expected to jump from $300 million to $3.1 billion by 2028. Mozart AI is trying to win over musicians who worry about AI by promising never to train on copyrighted music or generate full songs. With 25,000+ people already waiting to try the software, the company is betting that musicians want AI to help them work faster, not replace them.

I’ve avoided AI in my production for years, but Mozart felt empowering. The speed of suggestions and iterations is insane – feels like working with an AI replica of myself,” said Max Sarre, London producer with 1M+ streams. Check them out on Product Hunt here.
