SIQA announces the first AI Music Awards for November 13, 2026 in Los Angeles, plus a one-day SIQA Summit

AI music is getting its first red carpet. SIQA, the Sonic Intelligence Academy behind the AI music charts, announced on September 10, 2026 that it will host the first AI Music Awards on Friday, November 13, 2026 at The Mayan in Downtown Los Angeles. The day before, on November 12, SIQA runs a one-day SIQA Summit with panels, demo lounges, a mixer and the first trophies of the weekend.

Awards tickets are on sale now at $250. The room holds 600 people and fewer than 100 seats go on public sale.

SIQA dropped the news on Instagram with the teaser below, and in the same press release that launched the SIQA Verified Registry and an iOS app that scans a song and shows its AI classification. That registry is a story of its own. This piece is about the two nights in LA.

What happens at the SIQA AI Music Awards on November 13, 2026

The Mayan is a 1927 theater on South Hill Street, and SIQA is running it like an awards night, with a press line and photo moments before the doors open. SIQA promises VIPs and surprise celebrity guests on the carpet.

On stage, 13 awards get presented through the night, building up to AI Song of the Year. Between the trophies, SIQA-charted artists perform their hits live with AI visuals, human artists, dancers and a live band. The press release names the creators behind Xania Monet, Olivia B Moore, Chaisen Hale and EJ Rogers as the people directing those performances. The night also brings the first SIQA Visionary Award, and SIQA says the whole ceremony streams worldwide. Deepgram, the voice AI company, is one of the sponsors.

What the SIQA Summit on November 12, 2026 covers

The summit is the part I’d tell a working musician or a label person to book first. It’s one day, one room, single track, and SIQA says seating is limited. The program on awards.thesiqa.com lists:

• Panels and keynotes on the industry, the making of AI music, and the tools behind it, running all day.
• Demo lounges where the platforms behind this year’s biggest AI tracks let you try them hands-on.
• A surprise closing fireside chat with a guest SIQA hasn’t named yet.
• The Premiere Ceremony, where the first trophies get presented live. SIQA calls them the “craft, community, and innovation awards.”
• A networking mixer with nominees, speakers and sponsors.

One panelist is already confirmed: Romel Murphy, CEO of dai+drm, the label behind Xania Monet. Summit tickets are not on sale yet. SIQA says they open soon, and the pass covers the full day, the demo lounge, the Premiere Ceremony and a welcome mixer.

The 25 SIQA AI Music Awards categories

Every category honors work verified through the SIQA Registry, which means the artist registered the track and disclosed how AI was used. The full list, grouped the way SIQA groups it:

Two details stand out. The classification awards mirror the three-tier SIQA framework (AI-Assisted, Human + AI Hybrid, Fully AI-Generated) that already governs the charts and the Q1 2026 report. And the genre split matches the chart: R&B, Country and Gospel each get a song and an artist award, and Gospel was the biggest chart overperformer in Q1, so I’d expect a crowded field there.

A 26th trophy sits outside the list. The SIQA Off the Charts Spotlight Award goes to an artist who caught SIQA’s attention through its Off the Charts live series, and it’s the only award the public votes on. Every other category is decided by the verified AI artists themselves. SIQA says the full methodology, eligibility windows and ethics rules publish before voting opens, so nominees are still to come.

How to get SIQA AI Music Awards 2026 tickets

Buy awards tickets at awards.thesiqa.com. The $250 ticket covers the November 13 ceremony, red carpet arrival and the live performances, with checkout through Stripe. With 600 seats total and fewer than 100 released publicly, most of the room is nominees and invited guests.

VIP tickets (front of house, priority red carpet, after-party access) are by request via team@thesiqa.com. Why I’m going to both SIQA events in Los Angeles

I report on the SIQA charts every week, and I sit on SIQA’s Creative Advisory Council, so this is a disclosure as much as a plan: I’ll be at the SIQA Summit on November 12 and at the AI Music Awards on November 13.

The reason I’m flying over is the room. The AIMS: AI Music Summit in Boston this June had Berklee students protesting outside while executives inside worked out what to do about AI music. This is the first event built around the people who make it, with the 828 artists behind the Q1 chart data as the base. When SIQA handed Xania Monet the first AI artist plaque in June, that was one trophy. November 13 is 25 of them, on a stage, with a livestream.
