SIQA starts handing AI artists chart plaques, and Xania Monet gets the first one
AI artists are getting their own version of a gold record. SIQA, billed as the first global AI music charts, started handing out artist plaques for chart performance, and Xania Monet received the first one.
What SIQA’s AI artist plaques certify
The plaques work like gold and platinum awards, recognizing how a track performs, except they are built for AI acts and the SIQA charts. SIQA, the Sonic Intelligence Academy, ranks AI songs across an overall Top 100 plus R&B, country and gospel lists, and verifies each entry through an in-house review.
Xania Monet, the AI project created by Telisha Nikki Jones, was a fitting first. The act was the first AI artist to reach a Billboard chart and to sign a multimillion-dollar record deal. As of the week of June 23, 2026, “How Was I Supposed To Know?” sat at number 3 on the SIQA Top 100.
Why recognition matters for AI artists with a real story
The plaque is more than a trophy. The artists climbing SIQA’s charts include people who broke through because they had something to say. China Styles turned a painful family story into a hit. Recognition tells those creators the work counts.
