Suno’s new “radio” feature lets you vote on AI music — Here’s what you need to know:
Key Highlights:
- Suno debuts 24/7 live radio streaming AI-generated music in real time
- Listeners vote on upcoming genres, collectively shaping the station’s sound
- Platform features live chat and transparent voting, creating a social music experience
Suno just launched a new feature called “Radio,” which streams AI-generated music live, 24/7. The interesting part is that listeners get to vote on what genre comes next. You might see options like Bossa Nova, Guitar, Experimental, or Funk, and everyone votes for their favorite. There’s a countdown showing when the next vote happens, and a live chat where people can talk about the music and see who voted for what.
Suno announced the launch on July 25 on X. The Radio interface shows you the current song, the main genre, any supporting genres, and how many people are listening. There are also playback controls and a visual equalizer.
This comes after Suno’s recent v4.5+ update, which added features like vocal swapping and better track editing. With Radio, Suno is moving from just making individual songs to creating a shared listening experience. It’s a new way to use AI for music, where people listen together and help decide what plays, instead of just picking songs from a playlist.
