Moises and SoundCloud just turned the trip from rough bounce to release into one loop.

From today, October 21, 2026, you can connect your SoundCloud account to Moises, pull your own tracks in, rework them with Moises’ AI tools, and publish the finished version straight back to SoundCloud. It works on your phone and in the browser.

The two companies pitch the partnership at “150+ million artists.” Their own fact sheets say 80 million Moises musicians and 40 million-plus SoundCloud artists, which adds up to about 120 million, and the announcement doesn’t explain the rest.

What the Moises and SoundCloud integration does with your track

The announcement lists 5 things you can do once the two accounts are linked:

  • Import: you connect SoundCloud and bring eligible tracks into Moises, on mobile or on the web.
  • Practice: you split the track with Moises’ stem separation and pull out its chords and lyrics.
  • Produce: you open it in Moises Studio to mix it, master it or add new parts that follow what’s already there, and you can invite producers and other artists in to work with you in real time.
  • Ask Moi: you hand the session setup, the mix and the master to Moi, Moises’ agent, and tell it what you want.
  • Release: you publish the finished track back to SoundCloud, where eligible artists can monetize qualifying music.

So basically it’s a round trip. Until now, the same job meant digging out your bounce, uploading it to Moises, exporting, and then uploading a new version to SoundCloud by hand.

One caveat from my own walkthrough of Moises AI Studio in August 2025: separation quality depends on how the original was mixed. A dense, finished SoundCloud master won’t split as cleanly as a sparse demo.

There’s a sweetener too. Moises Pro subscribers get a 2-month trial of SoundCloud Artist Pro, and SoundCloud Artist Pro members get 2 months of Moises Pro. Artist Pro costs $99 a year, so the SoundCloud side of that trial is worth about $16.50.

“The goal continues to be the democratization of professional-grade tools for musicians,” said Geraldo Ramos, founder and CEO of Moises, in the announcement. What it doesn’t say is which tracks count as “eligible” and whether you need a paid Moises plan to use the link.

What Moi, the Moises production agent, does inside Moises Studio

Moi lives inside Moises Studio, which Moises launched on September 2, 2026. Studio is a multitrack studio that runs in your browser with no install, and several people can edit the same session at once.

At launch, Moises called the agent “Agentic Mode.” You ask in plain language to comp the best takes, clean up a noisy recording or build an effect chain, and every step it takes stays visible and reversible.

Today’s announcement gives the agent a name, Moi, and adds jobs: setting up sessions, mixing and mastering to your requirements, and teaching you along the way. Moises calls it the first agentic production assistant built for audio workstations. That’s Moises’ claim, and I haven’t tested Moi yet.

Studio also ships Auto-Mixing across more than 20 genres plus mastering tools, which is the part most SoundCloud uploaders will touch first. If you want something to compare it against, start with my list of the best AI mixing and mastering tools.

Moises Studio only generates parts that follow the music you already recorded, and each part stays editable. Moises says its tech already powers Ableton Live’s stem separation, and since June it sits inside Fender Studio Pro 8.1. SoundCloud adds the release end.

Does SoundCloud or Moises train AI on the music you import?

Both say no, and both have put it in writing.

SoundCloud learned this one the hard way. In May 2025, Ed Newton-Rex flagged a line SoundCloud had added to its terms in February 2024, saying uploads could be used to “inform, train, develop or serve as input to” AI, and the backlash was fast.

CEO Eliah Seton answered with an open letter that called the wording too broad. SoundCloud swapped in an opt-in rule, Music Business Worldwide reported: no training of generative AI models meant to replicate your voice, music or likeness without your explicit consent.

“We believe the future of AI in music should be artist-first and human-first, with technology expanding creative possibilities while keeping artists in control,” Seton said in today’s announcement. It repeats the rule in plainer words: SoundCloud does not use artists’ music to train generative AI models without their explicit consent.

Moises goes a step further on its side. Its models train only on licensed and authorized music, never on anything you upload or create in the app, so a track you import from SoundCloud stays out of the training set by Moises’ own rule.

We don't train on anything our users upload. Not one file.
— Geraldo Ramos, founder and CEO of Moises, September 2026

Moises joins a list of AI partners SoundCloud has been building since November 2024, including Fadr, Soundful and Voice-Swap in January 2025. If SoundCloud is where your fans already are, my guide on promoting music on SoundCloud covers what to do after you hit publish.

Frequently asked questions

Which SoundCloud tracks can you import into Moises?

Your own. The Moises and SoundCloud announcement says artists connect their SoundCloud account and bring eligible tracks into Moises, on mobile or on the web. It does not define what makes a track eligible, so expect your own uploads to work and other artists' tracks to stay out.

How do the 2-month SoundCloud Artist Pro and Moises Pro trials work?

The perk runs both ways. Moises Pro subscribers get a 2-month trial of SoundCloud Artist Pro, and SoundCloud Artist Pro members get a 2-month trial of Moises Pro. The announcement from October 21, 2026 does not say how long the offer stays open or how you redeem it.

How much does SoundCloud Artist Pro cost in 2026?

SoundCloud Artist Pro costs $99 a year, which SoundCloud shows as $8.25 a month billed yearly. The cheaper SoundCloud Artist plan costs $39 a year, or $3.25 a month billed yearly. Prices can differ by country, so check the SoundCloud pricing page before you subscribe.

Can you work on a SoundCloud track with other musicians inside Moises Studio?

Yes. Once a SoundCloud track is in Moises, you can open it in Moises Studio and invite producers and other artists into the same session. Moises Studio runs in the browser, shows each collaborator's cursor, and lets people leave comments on the timeline while they edit together in real time.
