Blow Records leads the pack with $157,665 from 45 million streams since June. Their viral hit “Predador de Perereca” created 1.6 million TikTok videos. They have 2.8 million monthly listeners. That is more than metal band Asking Alexandria and Jack Black’s rock band Tenacious D

The numbers show how easy synthetic content floods streaming platforms. Xania Monet earned $64,027 from Spotify before signing with Hallwood Media and landing on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song sales top 10. Journalist Eve Riskind from The Cornell Daily Sun said artificial intelligence poses a threat to art. She explained AI takes genuine expression and compresses the work into a one-dimensional money-maker. The Velvet Sundown admitted their entire catalog was AI-generated after earning $49,689.

This trend puts human artists’ livelihoods at risk as Music Business Worldwide reports AI tracks flood discovery algorithms. Deezer reports nearly 28% of daily uploads are AI-generated music. With 75% of producers fearing replacement, platforms face pressure to add detection systems. Holding Absence confronted an AI imposter who outperformed them on Spotify. This situation shows the urgent need for mandatory AI labeling and ethical AI tools to compensate human creators.
