Major labels fight AI music companies in court, but Hallwood Media welcomes the technology. Bleeding Verse’s anonymous creator announced October 7 they signed with the label. platform’s fastest-growing AI acts. The band now has 926,000 monthly listeners. Their hit song “If You Loved Me Then” has nearly 2.9 million streams.

Bleeding Verse recently surpassed Holding Absence in monthly listeners. This rightfully upset the human band’s lead singer, who spoke out against AI competition. Bleeding Verse is citing Holding Absence as an influence.

Hallwood Media founder Neil Jacobsen used to work at Geffen Records. He now represents three projects made with Suno AI. The label signed Xania Monet earlier, who has 912,000 Spotify listeners. They also signed imoliver, who releases “Bury Me With My Phone” this Friday. “I wanted to give you guys an update and let you know that I signed a deal with Hallwood Media,” Bleeding Verse’s creator told Patreon subscribers.

These signings happen while major labels negotiate licensing deals with Suno and Udio after months of court battles. Rights groups like GEMA continue lawsuits against AI music platforms over copyright issues.
