Eros launches Eros Music Worlds with seven AI-native artists and a Mohammed Rafi deal
A film and media group is betting on AI-native pop stars. Eros Innovation launched Eros Music Worlds, an AI-powered label, and signed a perpetual deal with the family of late playback legend Mohammed Rafi.
The seven AI-native artists Eros is launching
Eros debuted seven AI-native acts across genres: Jordan (alt rock), Tanu (Bollywood pop), Munna (rap and Hindi-English hybrid), Langda Tyagi (dark folk and rustic hip-hop) and Mudit (indie pop and urban soul) among them.
Each rolls out through singles and performance videos, with plans to grow into albums, character-led story worlds, microdramas and live shows. Tracks go to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and JioSaavn.
What the Mohammed Rafi family deal covers
The Rafi partnership is the headline. Eros, founded by Kishore Lulla, signed a perpetual deal to collaborate on new recordings, build a live concert modeled on the ABBA Voyage residency, and set up a Mohammed Rafi Academy for music education.
The first album under the deal is set for July 31, 2026, Rafi’s birth anniversary.
Why Eros Music Worlds is a different kind of AI bet
Most AI music news this year has been lawsuits and licensing fights. Eros is building a label around AI artists on purpose, with a non-Western catalog and an estate partnership at its center. It is a model worth watching, whatever you make of synthetic stars.
