The World AI Creator Awards has launched The Future Sound Awards, in partnership with Soundcloud and TwoShot, marking the first global mainstream competition dedicated to AI-generated music. The initiative comes as artificial intelligence transforms music creation, with over 60 million people using AI to make music in 2024 according to an IMS report. The competition offers $10,000 in total prizes, with first place receiving $7,000 and second and third place each earning $1,500.

Four profiles of AI music producers: Jeff Nang, Butterbro, Tobi Akinyemi, and Narcis Marincat.

The awards feature an expert panel including Jeff Nang (Co-Founder Controlla), international AI music producer, and Butterbro, who created the first AI song to enter German music charts. Joining them are Tobi Akinyemi, founder of TwoShot, and Narcis Marincat, Head of AI at Fanvue. Entries are judged on vocals, lyrics, beat, and authenticity, with scores combined with SoundCloud chart performance.

The competition reflects AI’s broader impact on music accessibility, with over 60% of artists using some form of AI technology in the past year. Creators can participate without traditional instruments, using only the TwoShot platform to generate original tracks across any genre. The awards close on July 22nd, positioning AI music creation as a legitimate artistic medium worthy of industry recognition.
